Sunnyvale, CA. - On 11/6/18 at approximately 12:30 p.m. Sunnyvale officers responded to the 1400 blk. of S. Mary on the report of an in-progress burglary while the resident was inside hiding under the covers of her bed. She used Text-to-911 to communicate information to Sunnyvale dispatchers. The unknown suspects fled before officers arrived on scene. The suspects stole personal property and a 2016 Tesla Model S.  Sunnyvale officers located the unoccupied stolen Tesla in North San Jose. The DPS Burglary Suppression Team conducted surveillance on the stolen vehicle. A short time later a silver Audi dropped off two females, 23-year-old San Jose resident Allison Martin and 21-year-old San Jose resident Raeanna Sagote, near the Tesla. When the females entered the Tesla, they were detained by officers. The driver of the Audi fled the area prior to police contact. The driver of the Audi was identified as 23-year-old San Jose resident Marco Rodriguez.

The Burglary Suppression Team conducted surveillance at Rodriguez’s home address in San Jose. Rodriguez returned home and was detained along with 23-year-old San Jose resident Alejandro Garcia. Both suspects were on parole for burglary. Property from the Sunnyvale burglary was found in Rodriguez’s vehicle.
All four suspects were arrested and booked into County jail on the following charges:

Alejandro Garcia: Conspiracy (182 (a)(1) PC), Burglary (459 PC), Possession of Stolen Property (466 PC), Parole Violation (3056 PC), Felony Evading (2800 CVC), and Theft of a Vehicle (10851 CVC)

Allison Martin: Conspiracy (182 (a)(1) PC), Burglary (459 PC), Probation Violation (1203.2 PC), and Theft of a Vehicle (10851 CVC)

Marco Rodriguez: Conspiracy (182 (a)(1) PC), Burglary (459 PC), Parole Violation (3056 PC), Felony Evading (2800 CVC), and Theft of a Vehicle (10851 CVC)

Raeanna Sagote: Conspiracy (182 (a)(1) PC), Burglary (459 PC), Probation Violation (1203.2 PC), and Theft of a Vehicle (10851 CVC)

Sunnyvale detectives are still investigating additional burglaries possibly associated with the suspects.
