Freeze Watch until 09:00AM Saturday

Canadian high pressure at the surface will settle across the area early Saturday morning. Clear skies will combine with very light northeast winds and dry air in place for a possible light freeze across some areas north of the I-20 and I-30 corridors to the Red River Valley. Low temperatures around sunrise Saturday will fall to or briefly below freezing, before warming above freezing by mid-morning Saturday. The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Freeze Watch, which is in effect from late Friday night through Saturday morning. * TEMPERATURE...Falling to between 29 and 32 degrees by sunrise Saturday. Temperatures will rise above freezing by mid-morning Saturday. * IMPACTS...Sensitive outdoor plants will be susceptible to the freezing temperatures and should be brought indoors or protected. * AFFECTED AREAS: DELTA ...
