INDIANAPOLIS – Just after 9:00 p.m. on November 6, 2018 officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle, described as a white Chevy Lumina, in the 3700 block of Moller Road. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Travon Bradley, fled from the officers in the vehicle. During the pursuit, officers observed Bradley discard several items out the window of the vehicle, including a backpack which was recovered by officers. The backpack contained a loaded gun along with suspected narcotics. Officers conducted a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) in the 5300 block of Rockville Road which brought the pursuit to an end without any injuries. Officers located several bags containing suspected narcotics while searching the vehicle before it was towed.
Travon Bradley was arrested for fleeing from police in a vehicle, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon along with several charges for possession and dealing in narcotics. Travon Bradley had six outstanding criminal warrants from within Marion County at the time of his arrest.
