                Deputy David Jones of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Timothy Matthew Howell, 29, of 225 Patton Ave. in Asheville, with two counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and one count each of larceny of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.
                At approximately 7:15 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, Jones and Capt. Bryon Crisp responded to the Lytle Mountain Road residence of Chucky and Nicole Bolick. The couple had discovered a man asleep in their Toyota SUV.
                Officers determined that man to be Howell, and further investigation showed he had rummaged through the Toyota, as well as a Chevrolet truck belonging to the Bolicks, stole a gun from the truck and fell asleep before making his getaway.
