On the evening of November 5, 2018 at approximately 9:36 PM, an adult male pedestrian was crossing Alvarado-Niles Road near Western Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle.
There were no witnesses to the incident and the pedestrian suffered significant injuries. Debris left behind indicated that the suspect vehicle was a dark color, newer model, Hyundai. The pedestrian was transported to Eden hospital and underwent emergency surgery. He is currently in stable condition. The pedestrians name is not being released at this time as this is an active investigation.
