Martin Luther King Ave. will be milled beginning tomorrow, 11/07, and paved on Thursday, 11/08. Both operations will impact traffic conditions for the morning and evening rush hours, as well as midday traffic in that area. This project will impact the lower portion of MLK, from George St. to Spring St. Every effort will be made to accommodate residents and businesses in the area on Wednesday, with closures affecting the areas being milled. On Thursday, the entire span on MLK will be closed to vehicle traffic. Motorists can use Speedwell Ave. and Cory Rd. as an alternate, as well as Spring St., Morris St., Ridgedale Ave., and Abbett Ave. on the eastern side. Residents of the Manahan Village complex will be directed into and out of the area via Flager St., which will be converted to accommodate two-way traffic on Thursday. Uniformed officers will be on hand to assist with this traffic pattern. We appreciate your cooperation with this disruption.
