City of Alameda Public Works: Traffic Advisory update
City of Alameda Public Works anticipates traffic impacts due to Park Street/Blanding Avenue Paving Project (Project).
Project work is scheduled to start up again Tuesday November 6 at 9 AM and is scheduled to be completed on Friday November 9 (weather/schedule permitting). City contractors will be applying asphalt concrete overlays along portions of the north end of Park Street between Blanding Avenue and Buena Vista Avenue and along Blanding Avenue between Oak and Broadway. If travelling in the area, please allow extra time and/or use alternate routes.
During construction, portions of Park Street and Blanding Avenue may be reduced to one lane of traffic. Emergency Vehicles will continue to have access and staff will make all reasonable attempts to keep adjacent driveways accessible to residents, employees and customers. It is possible that on-street parking may also be restricted during construction hours. Construction will not impact the polling location at 2513 Blanding Avenue on Tuesday November 6.

- Tuesday--Friday (11.06.2018-11.09.2018)
- 9:00AM-4:00PM daily
· Park St. between Eagle Ave. and Buena Vista Ave.
· Blanding Ave. between Oak and Park St.
· Blanding Ave. between Park St. and Broadway
NOTE: construction will not necessarily occur in above order nor will all locations be affected at all times, but areas within above roadways may experience project impacts/ traffic delays during construction.
