Summary: The Georgia Emergency Management Agency, in conjunction with the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, is forecasting the potential of severe weather on Tuesday, November 6th, Election Day.
The risk for strong to severe thunderstorms will increase after midnight in northwest Georgia and shift southeastward through the day Tuesday. The highest severe weather threat continues to appear to be across north Georgia beginning during the early morning hours Tuesday through mid-morning when wind shear will be maximized. However, the risk for some severe thunderstorms will persist through the day Tuesday for areas farther south and east as well.
