On November 3, 2018 at 7:09pm, APD officers were dispatched to a collision in the 8300 block of south Bell Street. A 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 43 year old male of Amarillo, rear ended a 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo. The Chevy was driven by a 71 female. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a local area hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured. The motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet. The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department.
