Traffic stop leads to the arrest of Nashville duo on Marijuana charge. 
On November 2, 2018, at 8:04 p.m. Deputy Ben Kiesel conducted a traffic stop on a White 2010 Dodge passenger car for speeding on US 41 near CR 800 South. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Kiesel detected the odor of burnt Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and began a roadside investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Kiesel placed the driver 22 year old Dangelo Davis and a passenger 22 year old Lijaha Tipton both of Nashville, Tennessee into custody and transported them to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail both Mr. Davis and Ms. Tipton were charged with Possession of Marijuana. They have both posted an $1100 bond.
Assisting Deputy Kiesel in his investigation was Fort Branch Officer Jeff Beck.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
