* until 900 am EDT.
* At 659 am EDT, Doppler radar indicated rainfall has mostly ended
across the area, although additional showers are possible later
this morning. Up to two to three inches of rain fell earlier
across the area. Several rivers, creeks, and streams remain
flooding.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, West Chester, Norristown, Phoenixville, Lansdale,
West Norriton, East Norriton, Westtown, Perkasie, Doylestown,
Conshohocken, Hatboro, Souderton, Ambler, Swarthmore, Kennett
Square, Collegeville, Jenkintown, Narberth and Chalfont.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate Route.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
