On Sunday, October 28, 2018, Forest Lawn- Covina Hills hosted their annual Day of the Dead festival, attended by approximately 10,000 people from throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Reserve Deputies, Volunteers and Explorers from Walnut/Diamond Bar Station assisted Forest Lawn personnel in providing security and foot patrols during the event, which went from noon until approximately 4 PM. Music, vendors and entertainment were provided for all in attendance.
