Power outages in the area of US Rt. 6 and Ridge Rd are due to downed power lines near the intersection. Police and Fire services are on the scene. ComEd has been notified. The roadway is open but the motoring public is cautioned to drive safely through the area as crews work to clear the scene and restore power.
