Gas Leak Prompts Closure of Glendale Community College Verdugo Campus 
Glendale Community College Verdugo Campus will remain closed for the remainder of Wednesday (10/31) as the result of a gas leak.
At approximately 1:30pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, construction crews accidentally severed an underground gas line near the school Auditorium.
No one was injured, but the entire campus has been evacuated as a precaution until crews can shut off the gas supply.
Due to the evacuation, all classes on the Verdugo campus are cancelled for the remainder of the day.
Updates regarding the current situation and status of classes on Thursday, November 1, will be sent via Glendale Police Nixle, Facebook, Twitter and posted to the schools website (glendale.edu) and social media channels.
