Severe And Hazardous Weather Outlook For Tomorrow. SHERIFF VICTOR HILL
The Georgia Emergency Management Agency, in conjunction with the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, is forecasting the potential of severe weather (Tornadoes, High winds) for Thursday afternoon and evening.
Today: For your Halloween night, we are expecting temperatures in the middle 60’s to the lower 70’s between 7pm and 9pm. Rain will hold off until Thursday morning.
Clayton County: The initial line of strong to severe storms should enter Northwest Georgia early Thursday afternoon and spread eastward throughout the afternoon and evening. It will move through Metro Atlanta later in the afternoon, and through Northeast, Central, and Southwest Georgia during the evening. The line will weaken by late Thursday evening and overnight into Friday.
Beyond Thursday: Another round of storms, some strong with gusty winds and small hail, may develop late Friday morning and move through Central and South Georgia Friday afternoon before moving out Friday evening.
After the system moves out of Georgia on Friday evening, clear and cool weather will dominate the weekend. Another system will bring showers and storms to Georgia on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
