On the evening of October 31st, Main Street will be closed for Halloween festivities. Starting at 5:00 pm, Main Street will be closed from Church Street up to the top of Hastings Hill. There is a parade that begins at 5:45 pm and starts at Charles St up to the Arnold Park fountain. The road is expected to remain closed until 8:00 pm. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes, and are also reminded to be extra cautious due to greater than normal pedestrian traffic.
