Lee Arthur Bell of Apple Valley is arrested after deputies and 40King2 respond to the report of multiple shots heard

LOCATION: South Trail & Horseshoe Way, Victorville
SUSPECT: Lee Arthur Bell, 40-year old Apple Valley resident
SUMMARY:
On October 29, 2018, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the area of South Trail and Horseshoe Way, for multiple reports of gun shots being heard.
Sheriff’s airship, 40King-2, assisted on the call and spotted a white Honda in the desert area near the location. Deputies on the ground were able stop the vehicle and detain the driver, identified as Lee Arthur Bell. During the identification process, Bell was found to be a convicted felon with an active warrant for his arrest. While conducting a search of Bell’s vehicle, deputies located a loaded firearm, suspected methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Bell was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for being a felon in possession of a firearm and the outstanding, drug-related warrant. The case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of further charges.
