Red Flag Warning Issued for East Bay Hills 
The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning covering the North Bay Hills, East Bay Hills, and Diablo Range. For the East Bay Hills, the warning begins at 2:00 a.m. Tuesday October 30, 2018 and goes until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct 31, 2018.
Low humidity coupled with gusty north to northeast winds (gusts up to 50 mph in the East Bay) have led to an extreme fire danger. Areas at risk include Mt Diablo and those areas above 1,000 ft.
Residents are asked to avoid any outdoor burning, maintain careful use of any gas-powered equipment (such as lawn mowers), and exercise caution if doing any outdoor cooking.
