Tykee Saxton, a resident of Los Angeles, is arrested for terrorist threats and parole violation

SUMMARY:
On October 25, 2018, at approximately 9:45 am, Apple Valley Deputies responded to the Walmart on State Highway 18 following the report of a man and a woman arguing in the parking lot, and the female desperately trying to get away from the male. Multiple callers reported the male threatened to shoot store employees who attempted to intervene on behalf of the female. Deputies arrived within minutes however, the male had left the area in a grey Chrysler 300 sedan. Moments later, deputies located the suspect vehicle unoccupied in the 13000 block of Mohawk Road and began a systematic search for the suspect. Tyree Saxton was located nearby and detained. A realistic looking Air Soft Pistol was recovered from the vehicle. Saxton was found to be a wanted felon with a No Bail warrant for Parole Violation. He was also positively identified as the suspect and transported to the High Desert Detention Center and booked for Felony Criminal Threats and Parole Violation.
