Drug Takeback Day Saturday October 27 
Tomorrow (10/27/18) residents are encouraged to bring their unused/unwanted/expired prescription drugs to the Danville Town Offices (510 La Gonda Way) for safe disposal.
The Danville PD, in conjunction with the US Drug Enforcement Agency holds the Drug Takeback Day to give residents a way to remove pharmaceuticals safely. NOTE: this event accepts pills and other solids such as patches, and liquids in consumer containers. for ease of disposal, participants are asked to place the medications in a sealed bag (such as a ziploc) for drop-off.
NOT ALLOWED: Sharps, intravenous solutions, and illicit drugs.
For those unable to attend or who have sharps, there are drop-off bins located at the Danville Police Department, 510 La Gonda Way, that are available for use during normal business hours Mon-Fri.
