Deputies arrest Armando Martinez for possession of stolen property and outstanding warrants

LOCATION: 10000 Block of Spade Drive, Loma Linda
SUSPECT: Armando Martinez, age 29 a resident of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY:
On October 23, 2018, at approximately 9:00 am, deputies responded to the report of a residential burglary that had occurred in the city of Loma Linda. During the investigation, deputies identified a possible suspect who was a transient in the Santa Ana River Bed. With the assistance of the Sheriff's Homeless Outreach Proactive Enforcement Team, Central Station deputies conducted an area check in the Santa Ana River Bed, in the City of San Bernardino. Deputies located Armando Martinez at a homeless encampment. A records check indicated Martinez had several active arrest warrants. Martinez was in possession of several identification cards that did not belong to him and property taken from the residential burglary. Martinez was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property and outstanding warrants, and booked into the Central Detention Center.
