This morning at 7:53 a.m., the Newport Beach Police Department’s Communications Center received a request for a welfare check regarding two individuals who reside in the 700 Block of Malabar Drive. Officers responded to the home and found the couple deceased at the residence. The couple’s names are currently being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
