INCIDENT: PC245(A)(2)- Assault with a Firearm on a Person

LOCATION: 5000 block of Bucklestone Place

SUSPECT: Tony Mausau, 19-years-old from Rialto, California

SUMMARY:

On Friday, October 19, 2018, at 3:33 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to the 5000 block of Bucklestone Place for the report of a subject brandishing a firearm. The victim identified Tony Mausau as the suspect who pointed a Glock 9mm handgun at him. The deputies learned that Mausau had an outstanding warrant for felony reckless evading.

Deputies made contact with Tony Mausau at his residence. While at the residence, deputies located the victim’s tablet and two hand guns, one of which matched the victim’s description of the gun and the other was reported stolen. Upon further investigation, a small quantity of narcotics was also located.

Mausau was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for assault with a firearm on a person and for the warrant. His bail is set at $150,000.
