Local church has planned a safety drill today and asked MPD to assist with the drill as well as notifying the public in case they were traveling in the area and noticed abnormal activities. The drill will be concluded by 1:00 PM.
The old phrase "IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING" still applies, but please note that a pre-planned safety drill will be happening between noon and 1:00PM today in the area of Lemon Street and Cherokee Street.
