Wind Advisory until 10:00PM

The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 1 PM EDT this afternoon until 10 PM EDT this evening. HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

* Winds becoming west northwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Gusts exceeding 50 mph at times will be possible with shower and thunderstorm activity this afternoon.

* Winds will diminish by midnight. IMPACTS...

* Hazardous driving for high profile vehicles.

* Unsecured light outdoor objects will be blown around.

* Downed tree limbs and power lines are possible and may lead to sporadic power outages.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ST. CLAIR ... WASHTENAW ... WAYNE ... LENAWEE ... OAKLAND ... MONROE ... LIVINGSTON ... MACOMB
