                Deputy Chris Byrd of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Danny Ray Pinkerton, 33, of 265 Carraway Drive in Marion, with possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
                On Wednesday night, Sept. 12, Byrd assisted state probation and parole officers with a search at Pinkerton’s residence. Pinkerton is on probation and is subject to warrantless searches.
                While there, officers located a handgun belonging to Pinkerton, as well as some drug paraphernalia.
                Pinkerton is a convicted felon.
