UPDATE #1: HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED - 2300 block of N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19802
Wilmington Police are currently investigating a homicide in the 2300 block of N. Market Street.
At approximately 4:03 am, police were flagged down in reference to a person who possibly suffered a gunshot wound.
Officers arrived on scene and located the victim who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound and later succumbed to their injuries.
This is an on-going investigation. We will provide updates as they become available.

Wilmington Police have identified this morning’s homicide victim as BLAYTON PALMER, 25-years old, of New Castle.
This is an on-going investigation.
