Rayshun Phillips of Barstow arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm

LOCATION: 1900 Block of Erin Drive, Needles
SUSPECT(S): Rayshun Phillips, 25-year-old resident of Barstow
SUMMARY: On October 16, 2018, Deputy D. Martinez of the Colorado River Station responded to a Domestic Disturbance at the 1900 block of Erin Dr. within the City of Needles. The reporting party said the suspect causing the disturbance left the location and had a firearm. While checking the area, the deputy found a vehicle parked in a nearby apartment complex. During the investigation, the suspect was identified as Rayshun Phillips. When the deputy searched the vehicle, a loaded firearm, approximately a pound of suspected marijuana wax, and other items consistent with marijuana sales were located.
Rayshun Phillips was arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and possession of Marijuana for sales. He booked into the Colorado River Jail.
