LOCATION OCCURRED:  Residence at The Woods at Millbrook

DETAILS:  Ptl. LaForge was detailed to a burglary to a residence that occurred overnight. Investigation determined the following: At approximately 4:00 AM the security alarm at the residence activated from the rear kitchen door. The residents checked their downstairs and did not see anything out of the ordinary so they contacted their alarm company who in turn canceled police response. When the residents awoke, they noticed that a purse containing cash, credit/debit cards, and other items was missing from the kitchen counter. There were no signs of forced entry, and it is believed entry was made to the home through the rear kitchen door that was locked, but not closed properly.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Montgomery was detailed to 212 Carnegie Center for a burglary to the business. Investigation determined that sometime after the close of business day on Friday, Sept. 21st through the early morning hours of Monday, Sept. 24th, unknown actor(s) pried open an interior backdoor entry to the suite to gain access. Once inside two locked rooms were pried open, and inside one of those rooms was a small safe which was also pried open. According to the business owner, nothing was known to have been taken from the office.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Fiore was detailed to a burglary at 212 Carnegie Center. Investigation determined the following: Sometime after the close of business day on Friday, Sept. 21st through the early morning hours of Monday, Sept. 24th, unknown actor(s) pried open an interior front entry door to the suite to gain access. Once inside, a locked door to the Information Technology room was pried open, and several new Dell laptops, Apple iPads, and headsets were stolen from inside.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Silcox was detailed to Wegmans for a shoplifting. Jakai Irving had concealed three bottles of liquor into his backpack and fled the scene on a bicycle that was shoplifted from Target. Sgt. Lai located Irving riding the new bicycle on U.S. Route 1 in Lawrence Township. Irving was processed at WWPD Headquarters for shoplifting from both Wegmans and Target.  He was released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Barber initiated a stop on a white 2013 Ford van for going through a red light. During the stop, Davis Anderson was found to be DWI and had an open container of Vodka in the vehicle with him. Anderson was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Zicha initiated a stop on a black 2012 BMW for failing to maintain its lane of travel and for a suspended registration. During the stop, and with the assistance of Sgt. Kivet and his drug detecting K-9 Quori (from the Robbinsville Police Department), Britainy King was found to be in possession of several Oxycodone pills and two straws containing a white powder residue. King was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Robles investigated a burglary to a parked motor vehicle where the following was reported: The victim parked her unlocked car at 745 Alexander Rd. with her purse on the back seat. She returned to her unattended vehicle approximately one hour and forty-five minutes later. She then went directly home, and the next morning realized that someone had stolen her wallet (containing cash, store merchandise cards, and Identification) from her purse.

DETAILS:  Ptl. C. Crawford was detailed to the Target store on the report of a shoplifting in progress. Target Asset Protection observed Natequa Long remove articles of clothing from their hangers and conceal them into her purse. Ptl. Crawford detained Long, and inside her purse was $102.95 worth of clothing. Long was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.
