Christopher Dennis Richardson, age 43, an inmate with the Giles County Sheriff's Department, briefly escaped custody from the local hospital this afternoon. Inmate Richardson is currently incarcerated with the Giles County Sheriff's Department for miscellaneous drug charges. Local law enforcement, including deputies from the Giles County Sheriff's Department, as well as officers from the Pulaski Police Department, quickly secured Inmate Richardson in a parking lot close to where he escaped. Sheriff Kyle Helton wants to thank all those involved, including the information provided from concerned citizens, with the quick capture of this inmate.
