Evansville man arrested for driving on a suspended license.
On October 15, 2018, at 8:42 a.m. Sgt. Bruce Vanoven conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2015 Toyota Corolla on US 41 near County Road 550 North. Upon approaching the vehicle Sgt. Vanoven identified the driver as 23 year old Carlton Perry of Evansville. During a roadside investigation Sgt. Vanoven ran Mr. Perry through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that he was operating a vehicle with license that had been suspended on a prior conviction. At that point Sgt. Vanoven placed Mr. Perry into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Jail Mr. Perry was charged with Driving While Suspended Prior and issued traffic citations for Expired Plates and No Insurance. He has since posted a $650 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
