The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to noon MDT Monday. The Freeze Watch is no longer in effect.
* LOCATIONS...Including the cities of Grand Junction, Fruita, Palisade, De Beque, New Castle, Mesa, Parachute, Rifle, Silt, Montrose, Hotchkiss, Delta, Gateway, Nucla, Cortez, Dove Creek, Mancos, Durango, Bayfield, Ignacio, Pagosa Springs, Blanding, Moab, Castle Valley, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, and Fry Canyon.
* TEMPERATURES...In the 20s.
* TIMING...The coldest temperatures will occur from early tomorrow morning until shortly after sunrise.
* IMPACTS...Below freezing temperatures will impact sensitive vegetation, irrigation and swamp coolers. Take proper precautions.
