The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Freeze
Warning, which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 9 AM CDT
Monday. The Freeze Watch is no longer in effect.
* Temperatures...In the lower 30s.
* Timing...temperatures will be below freezing by early Sunday
evening across central Kansas while much of south central and
portions of southeast Kansas will experience a much shorter
duration of below freezing temperatures.
* Impacts...freezing temperatures could kill sensitive
vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
