The NWS has Issued a FLOOD WARNING for the City of St. Louis until further notice #stlwx

This Flood Warning is a result of heavy rainfall across the basin
over the past week...

Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even
higher than predicted. The National Weather Service will monitor
this developing situation and issue follow up statements as
conditions or forecasts change.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Major river flooding is forecast on portions of the Mississippi
River through the upcoming weekend as a result of previously fallen
rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Major river flooding is forecast on portions of the Mississippi
River through early next week as a result of previously fallen rain.

Instructions:

Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas. The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.
