Deputies arrest two suspects for vehicle burglary

LOCATION:1300 Block of San Bernardino Road, Upland
SUSPECT:Danny Canchetec, 36-years-old, resident of Bell, CA
Adrian Ochoa, 22-years-old, resident of Rancho Cucamonga
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, September 23, 2018 at about 2:40 am, two unknown suspects gained entry into the victim’s vehicles, stole items, left and returned a few hours later to steal additional items. The burglary was caught on surveillance cameras mounted inside the vehicle. When deputies reviewed the surveillance video, distinctive tattoos were noted on both suspects and one of them was quickly identified as Danny Canchetec.
On Thursday, October 4, 2018, deputies located and arrested Canchetec at his girlfriend’s house in Upland. He was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for vehicle burglary and numerous outstanding warrants.
As the investigation continued, deputies identified the second suspect as Adrian Ochoa and on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, located him at a residence in Upland, hiding in a bedroom. Ochoa was arrested for vehicle burglary and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
