* Flash Flood Warning for... Northern Davidson County in central North Carolina...
* Until 830 PM EDT Friday
* At 213 PM EDT, emergency management officials and river gauges reported continued flooding in northern Davidson county along Abbotts Creek. While no additional rain is expected, water levels will remain high for several more hours, causing flooding in and around Abbotts Creek.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... High Point, Lexington, Thomasville, Welcome and Arcadia.
* AFFECTED AREAS: DAVIDSON, NC
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive around barricades.
