Advisory

Official Ballot Box inside of City Hall

The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters wants to make voting by mail more convenient.  The Ripon City Hall drop box option makes it easier for voters to exercise their voting rights.  Residents can take advantage of the no postage necessary when they cast their ballot at City Hall.  Also, their ballot cannot get lost in the mail.  Receive an “I Voted” sticker by dropping your vote by mail ballot into the drop box inside of City Hall.

Do NOT place your ballots in the utility drop box outside of City Hall.  Ballots must be dropped into the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters’ box inside City Hall.

Vote by Mail Drop off ballot tips:

  • Make sure you have signed the outside of the envelope.
  • Vote by mail ballots can be dropped off inside of City Hall in the official drop box Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from now until Election Day on November 6, 2018.
  • You can drop off a vote by mail ballot on behalf of other voters with their permission.
If you have any questions, please call City Hall at (209)599-2108.
