Two Males Arrested for the July Burglary with Shot Fired on Frederick Place in Morris Twp.

***TWO CHARGED IN MORRIS TOWNSHIP BURGLARY, SHOT FIRED IN JULY***

Two men have been arrested in connection to a July burglary where shots were fired, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said.

Patrick Wolfe, age 25, from Essex County, and Kyle Vaz, age 20, with addresses in Morris Township and Newark, were both arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including burglary and unlawful possession of a weapon in connection to the July 28 burglary.

The two are accused of trying to burglarize a Frederick Place home. According to Knapp, the two drove to the house, where Wolfe, armed with a gun, tried to get into the home through a backdoor. While trying to enter the home, Wolfe is accused of firing his gun. The two allegedly left the home in Vaz's car.

Both were arrested in the early morning hours on Wednesday; Vaz was arrested in Madison, and Wolfe was arrested in Newark.
