Periods of rain and thunderstorms through Wednesday. The rain will be heavy at times, with additional amounts of 1 to 3 inches. Locally higher possible. This additional rain, on top of wet soils from recent rains, will lead to rises on rivers and streams, with some flooding likely to occur. Those residing near rivers and streams should remain prepared for the potential of rapid rises and flooding, and be ready to seek higher ground if flooding develops. The National Weather Service in La Crosse has expanded the
* Flood Watch to include portions of central Wisconsin and southwest Wisconsin, including the following areas, in central Wisconsin, Adams and Juneau. In southwest Wisconsin, Grant and Richland.
* Through Wednesday morning
* Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches expected, with locally higher amounts possible.
* Prolonged moderate to heavy rainfall will result in rising water on rivers and streams. Some flooding is expected.
* AFFECTED AREAS: GRANT ... JUNEAU ... RICHLAND ... ADAMS
