Pomona Police Homicide Investigators have completed their preliminary investigation of the death investigation at the indicated location. Investigators learned that the deceased individuals were married for several years and the incident appears to be domestic violence related. They also confirmed there are no outstanding suspects and there is no threat to the public.

On 10/6/18 at approximately 11:20 AM, the Pomona Police Department received a call for service reference a welfare check in the 1400 Block of West McKinley Ave. Officers arrived on scene and found an adult male and an adult female each suffering from a single gunshot wound. Officers also recovered a firearm next to the victims. LA County Fire Department arrived on scene and pronounced both victims deceased. Pomona Police Department’s Homicide was called to investigate. At this time, Homicide Detectives are actively working this case. Evidence suggests there are no outstanding suspects and there is no current threat to the public.
