                Deputy Jesse Hicks of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Cynthia Michelle Buckner, 40, of 439 Chestnut Oak Forest Drive in Nebo, with contributing to the delinquency or neglect of a juvenile.
                At 8:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1, Hicks was called to the Buckner residence, where 16-year-old Dylan Buckner’s father reported him missing.
                An investigation showed that Cynthia and Dylan were in the car on Interstate 40, heading back to their house, when the two got into an argument, and Cynthia told the teen to get out of the car.
                Dylan walked 4 miles to Love’s Truck Stop, where he was located on the night of Oct. 1. Dylan was returned unharmed to his father.
