The public's help is needed to identify a subject who struck a golf cart occupied by a security guard with his car

INCIDENT: Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 16200 block of Bear Valley Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Unknown, black male adult
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On September 29, 2018, security personnel at Food 4 Less, in the 16200 block of Bear Valley Road, contacted a male subject in the store parking lot. The store had experienced problems with the subject in the past and security informed him he was no longer welcome at the store.
The subject got into a verbal altercation with security personnel. He then got in his car and side swiped the golf cart security was sitting in. Deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the scene but the subject fled, prior to the deputy’s arrival.
The subject was described as a black male, approximately 20-years old, and approximately 6’0” tall. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, black socks, and sandals. The vehicle was described as a silver color Mercedes, similar to that in the photo, with damage to the front end.
