Winslow man arrested on DUI charge. 
On October 3, 2018, at 7:59 p.m. Deputy Austin Farrington conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2000 Chevy S10 on State Road 64 at the Pike County line for being unable to maintain its lane of travel. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Farrington identified the driver as 23 year old Alex Mabrey of Winslow, Indiana. While speaking with Mr. Mabrey Deputy Farrington detected the odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle and began a roadside DUI investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation Mr. Mabrey was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Mabrey was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He has since posted a $450 bond.
Assisting Deputy Farrington in his call was Oakland City Officer Don Carlisle.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
