Synopsis: The victim, a 30 year old male, was loitering in the street with a companion at 600 Billow Dr. A dark colored sedan drove towards the victim N/B on Billow Dr. The victim thought he recognized the vehicle and approached it as it slowed to a stop. The victim approached the vehicle on the passenger's side of the vehicle. The front passenger window rolled down and the victim saw a lone male seated in the driver's seat. The male produced a handgun and shot the victim once. The victim was struck in the left hand. The vehicle fled N/B on Billow Dr. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening wound. There is no further description of the suspect. Southeastern Division detectives will be conducting the investigation.
