Reward Program for Guns On or Near Schools

The Fairfield Police Department is aware that sometimes people have information about weapons on or near a school campus.  To help encourage people to immediately report this information to law enforcement, school officials, and parents, The Fairfield Police Department will provide up to $500 for specific information leading to the arrest of someone possessing a firearm on or near any school campus in the City of Fairfield.  We believe all of us have a responsibility to help keep our students and community safe.

The Fairfield Police Department’s top priority is the safety of people in our city and working alongside community members helps keep everyone safe.  The Fairfield Police Department has a strong partnership with the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District and the Travis Unified School District.  At the center of these partnerships is the safety of our children as well as building positive relationships between students, staff, law enforcement, and our community.

The Fairfield Police Department encourages people to immediately report anyone illegally possessing weapons on or near our school campuses by calling 9-1-1 or contacting a School Resource Officer or a school administrator.  Together, all of us can help improve our city.
