Malibu Cyn Rd lane closures for SCE pole coating project - Oct 15 2018 through Feb 2019 
In response to new permitting requirements, Southern California Edison (SCE) is color coating steel poles located on a 3.5 mile stretch along Malibu Cyn Rd, between Harbor Vista Dr and Piuma Rd.
The project will begin October 15, 2018 and is expected to be completed by the end of February 2019. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
To ensure safety during construction, there will be single traffic lane closures and shoulder work with appropriate traffic control signs and flaggers. Lane closures, when needed, will be between 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Work will not take place on Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and will not occur during inclement weather, including Red Flag conditions, rain, and temperatures below 45 degrees.
There are no maintenance power outages anticipated due to this work. The schedule is subject to change due to crew availability, unforeseen operational factors, inclement weather, and coating material requirements.
