Wireless Emergency Alert Test to bee conducted today, 10/3 
FEMA will be conducting an IPAWS National Wireless Emergency Alert (cellphones) test today, followed by the Emergency Alert System test (radio and TV) at approximately 2:18 PM. This test is mandatory for all active cell phones in cell tower range and cannot be turned off. THIS IS ONLY A TEST - NO ACTiON IS REQUIRED ON YOUR PART. If this was an actual emergency, you would receive instructions following the alert tones with critical safety information and instructions to follow.
