SUBJECT: Drug Arrest

ACCUSED: Juvenile Male 17-years-old Toms River, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On September 28th, 2018 at approximately 5:28 pm Detectives Raheem Carter and Chris Brady were on patrol in the Seaview Square Shopping Plaza. While traveling through the area they spotted what appeared to be a narcotic transaction and conducted a motor vehicle stop to further investigate.
Further investigation revealed that the driver, later identified as a 17-year-old male from Toms River, New Jersey was in possession of narcotics. He was taken into police custody and charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams, possession of LSD, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia and loitering. A second juvenile, male age 17 was a passenger and was taken into protective custody, he was ultimately released to a parent. The accused was processed and turned over to a family member pending a future court appearance in Family Court.
