This is a reminder that the Denville Township Police Department is currently seeking qualified and energetic applicants for the position of Police Officer, who possess the department’s core values of Honesty, Integrity, Fairness, Compassion, and Respect.

Applicants must possess a minimum of 60 college credits and there will be a preference granted to applicants who have a B.A./B.S. degree.

The hiring process shall consist of a Physical Fitness Examination, Written Examination, Interview Panels and a comprehensive Background Investigation.

Entry Level Denville Police Officers are entitled to a competitive starting salary of $45,675 plus full health benefits and enrollment in the New Jersey Police and Fire Retirement Pension System.
