Deputies arrest Cain Marroquin for carrying an unregistered concealed and loaded firearm

INCIDENT: PC 25850(c)(6) - Carrying Unregistered Concealed / Loaded Firearm
LOCATION: Mission Boulevard & Ramona Avenue, unincorporated area of Montclair
SUSPECT(S): Cain Esli Marroquin, 26-year-old resident of Pomona
SUMMARY: Deputy Cervantes, of the Chino Hills Station, contacted Cain Esli Marroquin and another unknown Hispanic male in the area of Mission Boulevard and Ramona Avenue in the unincorporated area of Montclair. Marroquin immediately reached into his waistband. When ordered to stop, Marroquin continued reaching into his waistband and ran west on Mission Boulevard. Cervantes chased Marroquin and took him into custody. During a struggle with Marroquin, an unregistered loaded revolver fell out of his waistband. The second suspect also fled from Cervantes. The Montclair Police Department and Sheriff's Aviation Division responded but, the second suspect could not be located.
